Plus – I am not sure I would feel comfortable having an attorney drive me around to help me find a home.

Running scared from the Short Sale

It would appear the hammer dropped And a bit of ugly was discharged. Facebook was in a small way heated with an exchange from a blog I posted about us hiring a legal team to assist our short sale sellers.

Points were of concern that my actions were going to render agents obsolete from the short sale process. Also that if I need to have an attorneys office involved in the short sale process than I could (hinting that I am less of capable).

Point 1: the attorney is a fail safe mechanism for our sellers. Any "legal" questions will be fielded on our dime. Also certain issues regarding the far future implications would be able to be addressed.

Point 2: I want what is best for our clients regardless if I am making less $$$. It is the right thing to do. And yes. It not only protects my team but the seller as well.

Paris became involved in the discussion and like an experienced mma grappler finished the hostile parties with her usual precision.

A legal team on retainer is not absolutely necessary with regard to short sale completion and negotiation. Realtors do a fantastic job with the CDPE certifications. It is merely something that we dispatch for our clients. If you have an agent representing you, stay loyal. This is for our clients and followers only.
